I Live In Wythenshawe

In 2020, we had a blast partnering with churches and charities to help the community with our Love Wythenshawe project. We started out with the aim to make sure that no family went hungry during lockdown and we ended up delivering over 50,000 meals to families all across Wythenshawe! We also had hundreds of volunteers out helping with gardening, litter picking, rubbish removal and more.

And we are doing it all again between 26-31 July 2021!

Would you like our teams of volunteers to help you with gardening, litter picking, decorating or DIY? If so, email us at [email protected]. (Please note we are not able to do tasks that are the responsibility of your housing association or landlord )

As well as tidying up the local area, we have loads going on that you can get involved with:

Community Grocery

We know that many families are feeling the financial impact of Covid-19. So we’ve opened a Community Grocery for the people of Wythenshawe, helping you shop for less.

Offering a range of food options fresh from local supermarkets, you’ll find a wide range of food to choose from at a fraction of the cost, meaning you can save money, help the environment and reduce food waste all in one.

The Mess Cafe

Next door to our Community Grocery we have a coffee shop and café. In addition to great coffee we will soon be launching a special subsidised meal of the day available our Community Grocery members.

Kids Love Wythenshawe

Kids Love Wythenshawe was an exciting arts and craft project for children all around Wythenshawe, hosted by the fantastic CBBC presenter Rhys Stephenson!

It’s not too late to get involved. Grab your coloured paper, pens, stickers, googly eyes and head over to YouTube where Rhys and his friends will show you how to create some masterpieces, as well as share a story with you.

You can find all the Kids Love Wythenshawe videos here.
