This summer we’ve had a blast partnering with churches and charities to help the community with our Love Wythenshawe project. We started out with the aim to make sure that no family went hungry during lockdown and we have now delivered over 50,000 meals to families all across Wythenshawe. We’ve also had hundreds of volunteers out helping with gardening, litter picking, rubbish removal and more. So what’s next?
We know that many families are feeling the financial impact of Covid-19. So we’re opening a Community Grocery for the people of Wythenshawe, helping you shop for less.
Offering a range of food options fresh from local supermarkets, you’ll find a wide range of food to choose from at a fraction of the cost, meaning you can save money, help the environment and reduce food waste all in one.

The Mess Cafe
Next door to our Community Grocery we have a coffee shop and café. In addition to great coffee we will soon be launching a special subsidised meal of the day available our Community Grocery members. This will be launched in October – date to be confirmed.
Following on from the gardening and litter picking this summer, residents from Wythenshawe will be able to help assistance with a variety of tasks such as gardening, decorating and DIY. Most of the work will be undertaken by volunteers. To request a team email [email protected]
Please note we are not able to do tasks that are the responsibility of your housing association or landlord
